Last November, our founder, Thorkil Sonne, took advantage of his speech at the Ashoka European Changemaker Summit in Barcelona to visit again our offices in Barcelona, more specifically in Sant Cugat del Vallès.
There, the whole team was waiting for him to welcome him and enjoy a pleasant chat with him, knowing first-hand the projects of the Specialisterne Foundation, which under his presidency, are being carried out around the world.
We took advantage of his visit to organize a parallel event at the beginning of the Ashoka Summit, in which, together with him, other organizations explained their experience around the labor inclusion of people with functional diversity.
This was the case of La Casa de Carlota, an innovative design studio, because with diverse talent, it is seriously committed and convinced that creativity has to be hooligan enough to revolutionize the creative industry.
At the end of the event, in which the Bcorp organization also participated, of which both La Casa de Carlota and Specialisterne are part, since we are companies that think about the value of diversity within any type of organization, we had the pleasure of enjoying the creation of a work of art made by two designers from La Casa de Carlota, one of them with Asperger, and in which the existing complicity between neurodiverse people who share the same passion was experienced: creative painting.
